****"I had to check if the author was male. The strong masculine feel conveyed here made for authentic banter at the police station. This same male influence used at home was limiting in that it lacked the development of the widow's thread, not fully diving into her painful hesitations. Halfway through the story became predictable. And yet, the romance and suspense were incorporated so well, I not only did not want to stop reading this, but I could not put it down. There might be a sequel. Heck, there might even be a movie. But don't worry, this could be a stand-alone novel." -BTSemag
"An action packed goodie with likable characters and an adorable kid and a great story. And even though, Cole was a mouthy somewhat cocky FBI agent with a lone Wolf bad boy image, he really did belong with Detective Andi MacLaren, even if they had a rocky beginning. They complimented one another quite nicely and even if they didn't quite know it at the time. And Andi's son Ethan from her first marriage was really adorable managed to get along with Cole quite nicely. So if you want an action packed really good read, pick up a copy and enjoy."-BTSemag
