"Writing a heroine can be harder than Goldilocks finding a comfortable chair. She can't be too whiny, too soft, too bitchy, or too boring. She has to make me feel some-thing; I need to want to see her succeed, to root for her, but she also has to have faults that I can relate to. A lot of times romance novels focus on the man. Just write an alpha dom/biker/stepbrother and pay no attention to the other half (aka the wom-an) of the relationship. But what I love about this author is that besides writing amazing stories and male characters, she also writes phenomenal female characters. "Roustabout is a beautiful story, but it's the complex characters that really make this novel shine. Tera and Tucker are the perfect blend of soft and hard edges. Anyone willing to take a chance on the carnival is going to fall in love with this book." READ, LOVE, LUST
