"The Journey of Atlantis" gives a new perspective on the usual 'end of the world' catastrophe.  The story is written from the viewpoint of many characters doing many things as an example of human perseverance to overcome what could be certain doom of the species.  There are many emotional elements in this story that will reach for you no matter who you are.    I wanted to write a story that has not really been told before.  Although the plot at first seems familiar, it quickly evolves into something much bigger.  I wanted to include many materials and technologies that are being used or are just around the corner to add a real element to the story and show what you could extrapolate from them.
