Of all my books, Doppelgänger was the easiest to write. In fact, I finished the first draft in about45 days. I'm a fast writer--but, even forme, that was lightning-fast. I think whatmade it so easy, and so fun, to write was the dueling characters mirroring oneanother during World War 2. Both characters, masters of espionage, have darksides which also helped speed things along.(My bad guys always fly off my fingertips.) I hope you'll find Doppelgänger as amusing toread as it was to write.
